About Us

Welcome to HOMMA Homegoods!  My name is Haley and I live on a little urban homestead with my beautiful family in Spokane Valley, WA.  We enjoy slowing down and learning how to be as self-sufficient as possible.  This consists of baking, gardening, canning, crafting, building, raising our animals (chickens, rabbits, and pooches!) and lots of laughing during the trial-and-errors!

While my youngest daughter was a baby she had eczema bouts that were itchy, dry and sometimes painful.  While working in banking in 2017, my coworker sold me some homemade salve that his wife made.  I was hooked on this magic from the start!  Not only did I love the effect it had on healing her ezcema patches, I was intrigued by the endless possibilities of exploring varieties of salve.  

This began my love affair of growing all of the herbs I could get my hands on, infusing them in delicious oils, and spreading the word of the medicinal benefits of salve to everyone that would listen to me.  If you've crossed my path in the last 3 years, I am guessing you have a tin or two!

The best part of creating this home-crafted salve business?  Making it a family affair!  From inventory checklists, web design, growing/harvesting herbs, recipe design, event booths, and testing, marketing and crafting - the kids get in on the action every step of the way. Our business name is even an acronym of the first letter in everyone’s name!
